Does a Non-Unicode system supports screen personas?

We have a NUC ECC system & installed personas add-on. While performing initial configuration, SAP Note 1776739 mentions that personas does not support NUC systems scenarios.

Is there any way we can work on personas? or should we convert system to UC?

Well, the note you referenced answers your question. It says that people have installed Personas in non-Unicode systems (and presumably had it work, the note doesn't say) but that it isn't supported.

So, the question really is, "Do you want to run an unsupported system?" If you just want to play a little, give it a go. If you want to run it live, I'd suggest only doing that in a supported configuration. A unicode conversion isn't a trivial task, though...

Hi Dheeraj,

The recommendation from SAP is that you convert to Unicode. Going forward, NetWeaver systems will require Unicode, as stated in this customer letter from June 2014.
