Hi All,
I have an issue installing TREX revision 60.
I have c,e,f drives ( on "e" drive ECC system exist , f drive TREX software stored)
can we install TREX when ECC is up and running, is it possible to have TREX on SAP server.
Please guide me on this,
Best Regards,
Srinivas
Hi Srinivas
1. Have you download the Trex 7.10 any release from 55 to 59 (Not on 60)
2. Yes, you can install the Trex on you ECC system. For testing & development evniroement you can do it, but production you have to check the physical H/W resource
3. When your starting the installation (SAPinst.exe) source directory should not have space like " E:/ECC EHP7" you can keep the directory name "E:\ECC_EHP7"

Sriram

Hi All,
Thanks for the support.
I have installed TREX 7.1 revision 59.
Solution : Copied TREX installabels to other drive, removed space for folder name
Earlier it was ECC EHP7, changed to TREX
Run the setup through Administrator User .

Hi,
Open install cms log.. it is picking ecc as a command because you have given space in folder name. It's a default behaviour of any OS. As Jun has mentioned, remove space fro folder name and start your installation.
