SMDT test cases - not able to link from SM_CRM

hi experts

we are creating SMDT test case incidents from SM_CRM. the test packages are created from STWB_2.  if the test case failed , then we need to create the incidents relating the test case.

when we create incidents using the transaction type SMDT , we are not able to link the test case from " Related Test case " block .

we are getting the below error

the procedure followed

1. create the test plan by including the business process.

2. Created test packages and assigned it to the developer

3. developer made the test to " test failed "

Please help with solutions.

Hello,

does this happen when using SOLMANPRO business role?

Also, I would suggest creating it directly from the test case to ensure the link between the incident and the test case.

it happens with SOLMANPRO business role . i have also additional roles related to SOLMANPRO

SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_ADMIN

SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_CHARM

SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_CREA

SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_PROC

yes i am able to create the incidents from STWB_2. but we have configured SMIN in SM_CRM. so we don't have two places to create the incidents ( one for test case and another one for projects )

Is their any specific settings for linking the test case and SM_CRM

Hi all

we want to link the test cases created from STWB_WORK  into SM_CRM using the SMDT transaction type please. but we are not able to link it please.

we are getting " No results found " in the related test case block.

What might me the reason for these ?

is there any specific settings needed to link from SM_CRM ?

Hi all

I am able to create test cases from STWB_WORK using the SMDT transaction type.

From solution manager 7.1 SP08  it seems everything moved to SM_CRM web based screens.

but i when select SMDT type from SM_CRM , i am not able to link the test cases.

I suppose i expect a button in the test cases block , " Add test cases " to select the test case from STWB_WORK.

Is these the case or SAP supports to create SMDT incidents from only STWB_WORK ?

Can anyone please confirm these

how do you create the incident? Try to create it in the test case.

select you transaction type and active (visible) for everything
