we want to do fresh installation of solution manager 7.1, please let me know the media req. and steps by step guide for installation

Hi Yuvraj,

Please download the guide for Solution Manager from SAP Market place.

The guide will tell you what media files you need. Download those file from download section of SMP, as per your OS and DB.

thanks for reply, we are having db2 8 lic. but I am doing the fresh installation so I had installed db2 10.1.

but db2licm -l status is showing trial license, from where i can have the permanent licence for db2 10.1.

Hi Yuvraj,

You can get license from SAP as well as IBM, depends on your agreements.

The best way to start is using SAP installation guide for Solman 7.1

Based on your OS and DB platform you may select relevant DVDs from SAP service marketplace
