Error message :Document *** already locked by user ***

HI Guys

Back again this time with something really weird!".I am trying to GI(goods issue)  a document and it tells me that i have it locked on my user name whereas i dont dont have it opened in any of the sessions.does anyone know how to Unlock a user from a document?

I am using transaction SCWM/ODR FOR OUTBOUND.this document is completely picked and i need to Goods issue it.

Please Help 😞

Hi Leonard,

Did you check tcode SM12 for lock entries under your user name? Sometimes a lock gets stuck because of network disconnect or something like that. If the lock for this ODO is stuck, you could try to delete and the try to post GI again.

If this is a reoccurring problem, you should consult with your basis team to find the root cause.
