DMU cannot be used on CAD desktop

Hi,

    when using DMU viewing(all) functionality, it goes error with a message:

Specify either object key or document ID

Message no. DMS_VEG_MSG008

    I am using SAPVEG for conversion and rh file as viewable files

    anyone know what's the reason?

Hi William,

I think the DMU viewing is originally supported with JT files only. I am not sure about the RH/VDS files compatibility with DMU. Also please check if these CDESK_CUS parameters are activated..

CDESK_NEW_TRAFO_BBOX & CDESK_QUAN_CHG_ALLOW

if you are using the CAD integration. Check the following notes too: 799375, 1661126, 1706579, and 1791032.

It will be good to have the DMU working with VDS file format and inside the VE Viewer applet instead of engineering workbench light. This will be very helpful to load some super large assemblies. There seems to be some similar capability in the new PLM 7.03.
