SAP CLM On Demand vs On Premise

Hi Sap Gurus,

It will be very helpful if some one tell me the benefits with SAP Sourcing 10.0 On Demand when compared to On Premise. In which factors we will be benefit by going to On Demand instead of On Premise..

Hello Sanjay,

Actually, Sourcing 10.0 will only be available On Premise. The SAP Sourcing On-demand offering is no longer available and is replaced by Ariba Sourcing.  In a more general discussion of the benefits of On-demand vs On-premise, the most obvious are the lack of up front licensing costs, no initial capital investment for the hardware and the simplification of ongoing maintenance and upgrades.   For On-premise, the main benefit is you own the software and you can implement it where and how you want and you fully control the timing and frequency of upgrades.  This type of decision is one that needs to include all the main stakeholders.
