Hello there dear Friend,

The transaction SCC7 is for post-steps. Before that you exported the user master records from the SCC8 on pre-steps.

Then, if you want to import user master records you only need to do the next steps:

1. Connect to the correct where do you want to import, for example, if you exported the users for the client 000, connect to client 000.

2. Go to SCC7 transaction, click on Continue

3. Check if the order is correct for you (1) and Start the import clicking on: Schedule as Background Job (2):

4. On the next screen select Immediately (1) and click on Schedule Job (2):

5. Check if all fields are OK and click con Continue.

6. Now you'll receive this message:

7.Go to SCC3 transaction and check if has been imported, as you can see the import has been completed correctly:

Kind Regards!

Hi Michael,

The system detected that your source and target system+clients are same so you are getting is screen. This happens when you have not used a dummy system for creating your export. System informs you that you are overwriting same system/client and it thinks after copy, post export data will be lost.

Since, you have imported the transport already in your client, you should now run scc7 for completing post processing.

Hi,

Have you protected your source client under SCC4 with flag of Protection for client copy otherwise your source will get be overwritten with the new imported request and do the post processing.

You will need to run post processing using the Tx SCC7 after a client import.

Hi Hong

1. After system copy in test system have you change the system type from production to test? or have you done the post system copy tasks before importing the new client?

2.  Do you want to maintain both clients? (Production to test system copy & Old test system which you are already taken export)
If it is yes,

You have to create a new test system client. and then follow the steps as mention the SCN link(Not on system copy client):

Step by Step guide for client export import - Basis Corner - SCN Wiki

Because of this you are getting the warning message as you have attached in the screen shot.

SCC7 is for post processing and done after after a client transport.

If you have done a client transport the do post processing using Tx SCC7.
