ABAP Dump

Hi

I get a ABAP dump with the following text in it.

"There is no help text for this dump.Either the text was inadvertently deleted or the release of the kernel differs from that of the database. Refer to the note system for further information on this dump"

Besides the above, there isnt too much of information in the dump.

My question here is have you come across this and if so what could be the cause this error and how can it be fixed.

Hi Ravi,

Check the SM21 logs during the time of dump generation. SM21 logs will give you the clear picture of what went wrong during the time of ABAP dump and tells you which activity has created the dump.

With the help of SM21 logs error description you can search the OSS notes for solution .
