Afaria with Powershell cmdlets not working

Hi All,

I am working on Afaria 7 SP4 hf8 and configuring Powershell for Email filtering using Afaria.

I have enabled the basic authentication of Powershell directory under IIS in Exchange server.

In Afaria test connection is successful but the devices can sync with the exchange even they are not enrolled in Afaria. In Afaria configuration under MS Exchange i have selected "Always block and Quarintine"

Conclusion: Devices can receive mail even when they are not enrolled in Afaria Server.

Appreciate your help.

Regards

Rahul

Rahul,

The option under the MS Exchange page should match how your Exchange Server is actually configured.  So if your Exchange Server whitelists devices by default then you'll need to set the Afaria option to "Always allow".  If your Exchange Server blocks or quarantines by default then you would choose that option.  It sounds like your Exchange Server is set to always allow.

Thanks,

Hi Rahul

What i understood from your description is that you are applying access control options to your devices.

Other can configuring the MS-Exchange, configure access control option as well.

Do also verify the username and password.
