Hi Veera,
SNC is next generation collaboration tool which helps in managing your SCM and understanding the situation of the planning in your SCM. It gives a complete visibility of your planning and procurement processes across the supply chain network of yours and your supplier/customer.
WHY SNC
SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SNC) makes it simple for businesses to integrate suppliers into inter-company logistics networks, to plan needs and capacities together, to process orders and delivery requests, and to negotiate quotations and demand as a shared activity. The application supports the
electronic exchange of data between suppliers and contract manufacturers.
SNC can be deployed in many different configurations: the application can be used independently on the customer and supplier side, or seamlessly integrated into backend solutions from SAP or other system providers. In addition, SNC can also be used as a shared application in a hosting environment. Suppliers can utilize exception-driven processes to view the status of material at customer sites, whereby automatically-initiated warning notifications enable a rapid response to falling stock levels.
This largely replaces traditional communication channels utilizing phone, fax and email, thus lowering transaction costs. Even smaller partners with no EDI infrastructure can participate in the collaborative process: the only equipment needed is Internet access and a web browser. Depending on the scenario, this enables the specific collaboration of suppliers and customers.
I,e No need to actually install SAP in your Supplier/Customer work stations just a browser is enough for them, which enables them to interact with your planning process.
if you're talking about SECURE NETWORK COMMUNICATION then this is not the right forum.
Thanks
Vinoth
