Hello,
I've got a question regarding the route Determination for vendor Returns with delivery type RLL.
When I create a vendor return delivery with transaction MBRL or MIGO, SAP places a route "000001 - Northern route" in the delivery header.
Unfortunately this route is not defined in our SAP system!
I already checked route determination settings, but I didn't found the reason, why the route 000001 is placed, although it is not known...
RLL is configured to start a new route Determination
See attachments for hardcopies.
Anyone an idea where to change the route settings?
Thanks.
Chris
Hi Chris,
The route determination in the delivery is only executed dependent on
weight. You should maintain routes for deliveries under 'Route
Determination with Weight Group (Delivery)' under customizing point
'Maintain Route Determination'.
SPRO -> IMG -> Logistics Execution>Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions
-> Routes -> Route Determination -> Maintain Route Determination
Please also ensure that there is an entry in delivery type for
determining the route:
SPRO -> IMG -> Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping functions
-> Routes -> Route Determination -> Define New route determination by delivery type.
How the route determination occurs from MIGO:
If the system is able to determine a weight group via function
RV_WEIGHT_GROUP_DETERMINE it then checks the TVLK customising,
fields neute and routf, when everything checks out the system
will carry out a route determination via function module
SD_ROUTE_DETERMINATION where the customising table TROLZ is read.
If everything were set correctly here via MIGO you should find a route
when the return delivery is created.
In standard if you change the shipping condition the route is not
determined automatically.
Please review note 498143 Question 9:
9. Question:
You change the shipping data in an EnjoySAP purchase order (possibly implemented as
of Release 4.70 or during a customer project for 4.6B/4.6C). Why does the system not
determine the route automatically?
Answer:
In the R/3 standard release, the system does not determine the route again if the
shipping data is changed. Only a check is carried out. This is because SAP provides a
more flexible solution with the "ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST" BAdI.
Customers can adjust the shipping data individually to meet their requirements in the
PROCESS_ITEM method.
I hope this information helps.
Kind regards,
Catherine
