Fiori Launch Page - blank - no apps visible

Hi experts,

Having a frustrating time trying to configure the Launch Page using Wave 1 apps.

I have assigned the following roles to the user:

SAP_UI2_ADMIN_700

SAP_UI2_LAUNCH_PAGE

SAP_UI2_USER_700

SAP_SRA002_HCM_TS_MAN

When I load the launchpage I do not see the My Timesheet app. What is even more frustrating is that the Chrome Debug screen does not show any errors so I am almost at a dead end as to what the actual problem could be.

Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Are the services working in the Gateway client /iwfnd/gw_client in the Gateway system?

Hi Warren,

Launchpage is old one. Please use new launchpad.

Important Note: Please use new UI with new SAP Fiori launchpad

Hi Masa,

Can you still use the new launchpad with Wave 1? We are unable to implement this project at this stage on Wave 2.

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for your reply but I'm guessing your solution assumes that we have upgraded our UI addons to support the new Launch Pad? If yes then unfortunately we are unable to upgrade our Netweaver stack to support the new UI addons and therefore we need to keep using the Launch Page.

Hi Warren,

Please look at the system landscape diagram.

Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape with ABAP Environment - Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape - SA...

Most of customers install new frontend server and keep backend server changes as minimum.

You can install new UI components on the frontend server which is NetWeaver 740.
