HANA SPS6 OS Parameter calculation.

Hi HANA Gurus,

I'm a bit faze on how to calculate the proper OS parameter of the below entries. Let say I'm going to install 1 HANA DB on server with Mem 128GB or 256GB. What would be the correct value for the entries.

Will appreciate for your thoughs. thanks

fs.aio-max-nr	Maximum number of asynchronous I/O requests	0x20000 + <number of existing databases> * 0x10000	/etc/sysctl.conf
kernel.shmmax	Maximum shared memory segment size	0x40000000 (1 GB)	/etc/sysctl.conf
kernel.shmall	System-wide limit of total shared memory, in pages	shmmax / 4096 * (shmmni / 16)	/etc/sysctl.conf
vm.max_map_count	Maximum number of Virtual Memory Areas (VMAs) that a process can own	1000000 + (RAM in TB) * 100000000	/etc/sysctl.conf

The installer will set these for you. Do note that it's required to be a certified installer, to install HANA DB. Hope this helps.
