Charm - IF TR is not moved to Production,Email should get triggerd

Dear All,

I have implemented Change req. management in system and its working fine. 

We have one new requirement as, Mail should get triggered if TR is not moved to production in urgent change. I checked standard configuration but didnt find anything. In standard connf. if TR gets fail then its comes under process log in urgent document.

How to trigger mail if TR is not moved to production or if TR is failed??

Hi Vikram,

Thanks for you quick reply.

I checked the link but there is nothing related to mail triggering if Transport Request  fails or in error while importing in production.

Let me know if you need any further clarifications...

Hi,

You can do one thing, assuming you are moving the TR through Actions in Urgent Change ' Import into Production' , provide a custom action X at this point which should change the urgent change status to Y. Once the urgent change attains status Y, you can create conditions which triggers email.

Thanks for your reply.

Actually when i select action 'Import into Production' its gives error message as 'Unable to successfully complete import into production system'

I checked, its coming because of consistency check. So, do you have any idea about sending email notification based on consistency check error messages.
