Hi Victor,
The NI function GetHostnameByAddress is failing, which means the name of the host which you have provided in the RFC is not recognized.
Now, what you have to do:
ping hostname
This will return an IP address
Use this IP address below
nslookup IP address
This should give the above hostname
If this is not working you should add entry in host file with IP address hostname and FQDN.
If on adding this is not working, then check with your network team.

Divyanshu

Hi Victor,
Could you please share dev_w7 log file from the OS level,as it's completely related with the hostname entry under hosts file.Have you followed all the above recommendations completely.
Try to share the ping result for particular system,if failing then try to look under /etc/hosts files for proper entries as already suggested to you by @Regan Benjamin .
Also you mentioned
No, our IP address is solved by DNS
Our IP address is solved by DNS
Have you provided a static IP to that machine or by a DHCP server.,if obtaining IP from DHCP server than here could be the issue for failing of RFC connection.Kindly confirm.

Hi Victor
please run RSTPTEST report from SE38, also check the log file in SMGW => Goto => Trace => Gateways => Display file
check that the services are populated on the services file?... or that the port is not blocked by the firewall?
try upgrade of your TP and R3Trans and see if it helps

It says the hostname is unknown.
Maintain the target hostname and IP address in the hosts file of the SAP system.
Instead of using the hostname in the RFC use the IP address and see if that helps.
