Issue in opening saved attachment in SC & PO in SRM 7.13 EHP1

Hi All,

We have implemented SRM 7.13 with EHP1 and have a requirement to attach PDF documents to SC which in turn flow to PO.

Attachment of document is fine but after doing a save/order a SC, attachment does not open only a URL opens which gets closed with some error. I am not able to capture the Error as well.

Only Below URL opens and gets closed without opening the document.

Let me know if there is any configs required to enable this functionality.

Your note does help, i changed the setting in IE :

open the menu "Tools->Internet Options"

l click on the tab "Security"

l click on the image "Internet"

l click on the button "Custom Settings"

l in the popup go to "Downloads->Automatic prompting for file downloads" and enable it.

Hi Ankur,

We had such an issue reported by users of specific region and we were not able to replicate the issue at our end.

However the resolution provided us to keep hold on Ctrl button while clicking on the attachment link. After clicking it asked for two options either to Open the document or to Save it.

By holding Ctrl key users were able to Open/ Save the attachment.

Please check if this works fine for you as well.
