Search UI vs Custom UI

Hello,

We enhanced our Material UI with custom entities by chnaging the sequence of UIBB and CBA for some fields in UIBB, Our custom UI works as required.

When we do search for material's created with Custom UI and open them directly in search screen, the Material displays standard UI and all the custom entities & its values are not displayed.

Any directions/ pointers please.

Hi Sanjay,

Thanks for sharing link, doc speaks about extending search with custom attributes which shall help while doing a search.

my requirement was, the Material when opened in serach screen opens with standard UI (UIBB, fields and sequence) instead of custom UI used to create Material initally.

We used custom UI application (extended UIBB's with custom entities and CBA for few fields) instead of standard application BS_MAT_OVP_03

Any help please.
