Hi Experts,
While creation of a planned order through interface (MII), the Byproducts components are getting duplicated in ECC (with duplicate byproducts getting no operation assigned to them) . When the plan order is created manually this issue isn't observed.
To test it , we deactivated the CIF and created the plan order via interface and observed that the byproduct components didn't get duplicated.
However, soon after the CIF was activated , the duplicate entries for byproduct component got created . Also every time the CIF is activated the duplicate entries gets added .
Please advice.

Aditi
Aditi,
Scenario is a bit vague.
While creation of a planned order through interface (MII),
What are the source and destination systems of the MII planned order creation interface? Exactly what data is being exchanged?
When the plan order is created manually this issue isn't observed.
Created manually in which system?
Also, is your master data (material masters, boms, routings, production versions, etc etc) created in ECC and CIFd to APO? or....?

Hi DB,
The plan orders are getting created in ECC through MII , also they were created in the same system manually.
The data is then CIFd to APO and while the outbound entries were created (i.e. data CIFd from APO to ECC) duplicate entries for byproducts are getting created which accounts for the duplicate byproduct components for a plan order in ECC

Aditi
