Issues with IWBEP SP8 Upgradation

Hello Experts,

We applied SP upgrade for IWBEP  from SP 7 to SP 8 in our Gateway Server. Once it is done, all our OData Projects which were developed using SP7 is not active and Generating errors such as "Conversion error possible; EDM type is more restrictive", ABAP type is more restrictive and "Internal ABAP type P can only be allocated in chunks of 2 digits". We used to have Edm.Decimal with (8,3) as precision and scale. So here my question is What data types are not supporting with the new Sp-level(IWBEP SP 😎 and what changes we need to apply in the Existing projects to run successfully.

If we do change any Edm.Types, does it effect the outcome of the Project?
