Hi Experts, I just installed the Sa_NetWeaver Trial 7.2 and when I try to install the GUI (C:\Users\rafa\Desktop\NWASABAPTRIAL70206\SAP_NetWeaver_702e_Installation_Master\IM_WINDOWS_I386\sapinstgui.exe)

I get this error

Then I downloaded the JCE from this link http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jce-7-download-432124.html

create the variable and put the JCE (without unzip) in the path C:\Users\rafa\AppData\Local\Temp\sapinst_exe.5124.1408849963\\jre\bin\ and run the sapinstgui.exe

now I get this error

Could someone help me with this? I'm really confused

Thanks in advance

Hi Rata

1.  I thing you have to install the JAVA 2 SDK & JAVA 2 Runtime Environment SE version 1.4.2_13, SAPinstgui will not support Java latest version.

2. In system environment you have to maintenance the "JAVA_HOME=c:\j2sdk1.4.2_13-x64 "

3. Download location - Java Archive Downloads - Java SE 1.4

After that start the installtion, during the SAP installation its will swich to SAP JVM

Hi Rafa,

Follow the steps :

1. Remove the environment variable JCE_POLICY_ZIP from your system.

2. start the sapinst with the parameter JCE_POLICY_ZIP

sapinst.exe JCE_POLICY_ZIP=<location of your jce policy zip file>

Hi Reyes,

Just set the temp folder path/location to C:\ drive or start you installation from drive d so that the length to bin is not so long.

Hi Rafa,

Yes, sorry for my quick reply. That wasn't your problem.( I should stop using my phone for accessing

SCN)

The PATH has double"\\" slash before JRE. Is that correct ?

For SAPJVM, goto and read SAP note 1240081, download the JCE file and try again.

To check the version, goto \jre\bin\ of sapinst and issue, java -version.

Hi Reyes,

The reason why I am asking you to check this because you can get the correct JCE file for the required version.
