Dear All,
I have successfully upgraded oracle from 11.2.0.2.to 11.2.0.3. Database is up & running fine. But while I am trying to start SAP, it is saying DB is not available. I am pasting trans.log entries below: Please guide me to get an idea to resolve the issue.

Dear All,
Issue got resolved by changing environment variable SHLIB_PATH in Database host. Previously it contain instantclient in it. Late we change the same to /usr/sap/<SID>/exe/run:/oracle/<SID>/11203/lib and the issue got resolved.

Provide the environment variables of the orasid and sidadm users.

Hi Sudipta,
I hope you have checked the logs generated by the patch update for any possible issues.
Make sure oracle_home is same for sidadm orasid and listener.ora
Give a full restart of you server and start oracle with orasid. Now give R3trans -d.
Check alert logs
Also, have a look at 491174 - Composite SAP note for ORA-01034
If this is not working then we can move further.

Dear
you have to increase you shared memory and you need to check ORACLE_SID and ORACLE_HOME entry should properly match with /etc/oratab or /var/opt/oracle/oratab .
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available tips
this may solve your problem

Hi Mate, Did you restarted your listener and it seems more of environment variables issue. Check your environment variables,TNS values also the softlinks to home directories.

Hi Sudipta..Can you plz check the ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_HOME, TNSPING for the SIDADM? Also the file level permissions for SIDadm/ORAsid(unlikely as the DB is running)
Check the tnsnames.ora for RP2 if everything is correct there. Again check the running listener - goto status and check if it matches correct RP2 values/references?
Check here if this helps..

-As of now by going through the log it seems that the R3trans is able to fetch the basic info of the oracle(upgraded version-patches) which is similar to getting into sqlplus without any logon..but when R3trans is trying to logon it's not able to determine the instance so above mentioned one/some is surely to be blamed for.
