How to replace sub item After Main item delivered

Dear SD Experts

I have one doubt please let me know

i have created one BOM Sales order -----Header material created delivery also

But due to Stock problem i have not created Sub items ----now customer is telling please i don't want that sub item

so in this case i want to delete the sub item----- and i have to give another Sub item in that place

so here we cant delete that sub item ...because all ready header material delivered so subsequent document we cant delete

How to handle this business process ....?

And i have checked so many threads to Avid Deleting sub items in sales order but all said only by using enhancement only any standard functionality is there to control this ?

have you tried with 'Reason of rejection' at sales order item level?

We cant give reason for rejection in BOM Sub items if i maintained price at header level

I have checked this and we can delete or reject sub item even if main item is delivered and price was maintained at main item level. Venu could you check it again?

Dear MoazzaM Sir thanks a lot for my replay

Yes may be in my business process It might be Some enhancement In BOM Process

at any cost i will share the screen by Tomorrow.

so based on that one i Thought for non pricing items we cant give reason for rejection ..

But in my case all ready Main item delivered so this document is Subsequent document.

Generally we use to give reason for rejection At header level and same applicable at item level also Right ,As per my business i am telling

So i will check in sap standard system and i will let you know
