SAP 730 GUI performance issue

Hi there,

After installing the 730 GUI on my new Laptop, SAP sometimes takes up to 30 seconds to save a screen or open another sessions.  This was not an issue with the 720 GUI on my old Laptop.  Any ideas what could be the issue?

Hello Mike,

I would start by making sure you are using the latest gui patch (10),and if you still have the issue,

then capture a performance trace.

To capture an automation and Performance trace, please press ALT + F12 -> Options ->

Traces -> Session Traces

Put the check Mark in:

[x] Automation

[x] Performance

[x] Detailed output

Click "enable" "apply" and "OK"

Then recreate the issue again and attach the trace files to the post.

Remember to switch off the trace after you have attached the files
