SAP PI 7.0: 403 Access denied: Unable to access Alert Configuration

Hi all,

We are on SAP PI 7.0 SP 21.

When I try to access the Alert Configuration page from RWB, I am getting the below error: (403 Access Denied)

I have check the below things already:

1) I have all the roles like SAP_ALM_*, SAP_BC_ALM_*, SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR, SAP_XI_DEVELOPER, SAP_XI_MONITOR

2) I have checked the below exchange profile parameters.

     a) Service user password is correctly maintained for PIRWBUSER under com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd.

     b) The value for port com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport matched that of SMICM->Goto->Services->HTTP Port (8000).

     c) Provided FQDN under com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost

Not sure what else needs to be checked. Please help.

Hi,

please check the user needs to have the role SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER_MAIN.

Hi Srinivas,

I got the above role added to my ID, along with SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN, but the issue still persists.

I have also verified that the below services are running:

- /sap/bc/bsp/sap/system,

- /sap/bc/bsp/sap/public/bc

- /sap/public/bsp/sap/public/bc

- /sap/public/bsp/sap/system

- /sap/public/bsp/sap/htmlb

- /sap/public/bc

- /sap/public/bc/ur

Any other suggestions?

Hi Prasanna,

Can you check if the services /sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox and /sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules are active?
