Comparison Index from Business Partners

Hi Experts

When we upload SPL data in GTS, and run /SAPSLL/SPL_STBP to generate comparison index, it should run with radio button "Changed Partner Address Only" or "All Partner Addresses"?

Currently we load SPL data on daily basis from third party and run the job with with radio button "Changed Partner Address Only" ?

Is it right?

Hi DG,

This really depends on your business requirements.

But I would say that the outlined process is "Best Practice" when it comes to daily SPL uploads.

This way you are leaving the index of all business partners the same and only indexing newly created or changed business partner addresses. This will mean better performance.

The only time I would see you changing the radio button is when you would like to re index an old business partner. If you try re index an old business partner with the "Changed Partner Address Only" radio button set the system will not select anything.

Please also note the difference between creating the index for business partners and creating the index for SPL entries.
