What are the prerequesites to add ad-hoc approver to WS14000133 ?

Hello,

I'm trying to implement standard workflow for SC approbation in SRM5.0, but I'm not able to add ad-hoc approver to the workflow, is there special prerequesites to do so, user authorization, task classification?
