NWBC for HTML: New Session

Hi,

We have latest NWBC for HTML.

When I try "/oMM01" it gives an error saying "maximum number of sessions reached" . Is it possible to configure to open a new browser tab/window with a "/o<tcode>" is entered?

regards

Krishna

Hi Krishna,

In this case I think the limitation is in the WebGUI not in the NWBC. NWBC for HTML doesn't have the "Quick Launch" bar like the NWBC desktop version has so you are typing /oTCODE into the WebGUI command bar.

If you look at note 314568 it mentions that "SAP GUI for HTML doesn't support multiple sessions"

I would take a step back and ask why you are getting users of NWBC HTML to type in t-codes, IMO if they are "power users" who know the t-codes then they should be using the NWBC Desktop version.

Hth,
Simon

Perfect.

I did not really find any value in using Tcodes in NWBC for HTML. But since the message say that number of sessions reached, I thought there might be a setting for opening a new tab/window with '/o'.

Old habits (Tcodes) don't die easily.

Thanks

Krishna

Agree. I suppose the message should really say something else more along the lines of "multiple sessions are not supported".
