I'm looking for a program or standard transaction that will re-calculate the volume for all the article's UoM using the dimensions. Is there such a program that will do this en masse for multiple articles?
The reason I ask is because we have a custom report (front-end) in our ERP that imports article volumetric data (via csv file) that has been weighed and cubi-scanned by an external device/program (Cubiscan machine). The front-end makes changes to the article Basic Data (Length, Width, Height & Gross Weight) but does not re-calculate the volume of that UoM where the dimensions were changed. In MM42, for single article, I have to clear the volume field in order for it to be re-calculated again automatically using the new dimensions. We have stopped using the custom front-end to make changes to the article dimensions until it has been fixed. I need a quick way to update the articles that have incorrect volume as the correct volumetric data is crucial for our EWM system.
