Error while trying to import Software components from SLD.

Hi Gurus,

Need Help.

When we are trying to import Software components from SLD we are getting following error. Could not read list of software component versions from SLD. In Description  i am getting following two points.

1. Could not read list of software component versions from SLD (COULD_NOT_READ_SWCV)

2. User credentials are invalid or user is denied access

We have tried following

1. LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI are working fine.

2  SLDAPICUST is ok

3. In nwa connections are available for LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI.

Request you to let us know how to resolve this issue.

This note may help:

Also, in ESR >environment >>clear SLD cache.

I checked PIREPUSER IN SU01 and its unavailable. So should i proceed further in creating the user through SU01 also let me know,

1. Where can i check which service users are installed and their status.

Hi You would be able to check all your service users in SU01 only. if the user does not exist or have some issue wit service user, you need to contact your basis administrator.

Hi Basically go to su01 or su01d and wirte PI* or XI* depending on the version you are using and execute .It will display all the users .like PIDIRPID.

In early systems it used to be PIDIRUSER not is PIDIR<sys id>.

Also in od versions its XIDIRUSER.

Basically yo never have to create these users they are made when you install the system.So it cold exactly not be pirepuser but pirep<system id>.Just see if its locked and if it is .just unlock it.

Thanks for the info shared. I tried in SU01 but no users are available there with PI* so can  gide me how to proceed ahead and what can i take to resolve the issue.

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER

SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER
