Templates in Technical monitor is getting changed, every time we reboot the OS

Hi All,

We have noticed this strange behavior of solman in our environment, Ours is Solman 7.1 . We are done with all the configuration, setting up metrics etc
we are in fact monitoring alerts via alert inbox and its matching correctly.

However every month we have non-prod and prod windows system reboot for Patching, after that we see that templates automatically get assigned to standard template.  Not sure why, any one has come across this type of issue.

Activate Maintenance mode - nope, what exactly we do here?

We just update IT event and Work mode for specific system at reboot time - so that solman does not capture alert.

We do not perform any activity on DAA or Host agents on manage system.

their is no logs related to reboot timings in our environment in manage system config.

What 's the SP level of Solman and are you using work modes ?

its SP 10......

Yes, we use work mode management and It event on Technical System and Technical Instance when ever required.

Hi,

Do you activate maintenance mode when you try to patch your landscape systems ?

What do you do with diag and host agents on managed system ? Did you see anything in logs ?
