ON SD pricing

HI Guys,

We have a below scenario  in SAP sd :-

Our client wants to use  “Every Day” pricing within SAP must support tiered or scaled discounting at the order level. Separate structures must be created to support tiers based on order value($), gross order weight(lbs), and order volume (cu ft). The vendor will select only one of the three options for their use and set tiers values based on the parameter for the given structure. Discounts will be set as percentage and will be determined based on total value of the order after all other article level tiered pricing / discounts have been applied. The resulting discount dollars will be allocated back to the article level resulting in discounted line level prices. This pricing will be considered the regular pricing for the vendor and be in effect through virtual end of time.

An identical set of 3 structures is also required and must support a temporary version (start and end date) of the same tiered discounting functionality.

Kindly suggest how we can achieve this in SAP SD.

@lakshmipathi G @jelena  We have a requirment where user can select one scale out of three(order value($), gross order weight(lbs), and order volume (cu ft).

On behalf of that system should deactivate the non selected scales

I'm also very confused why we're talking about vendors when in SD we usually deal with the customers. Is this some special scenario? It's also not clear what is the difference between "line" and "article".

As correctly pointed out, this needs to be translated into the standard SAP terms. Also please make sure to clarify what options have you already explored before posting - "spec dumping" is frowned upon on SCN.

You need to rephrase your requirement to enable others to understand by explaining with an example with some numerical value.  Nevertheless, in standard, for Daily Pricing, SAP has provided one Calculation Type and have you explored this before posting here?
