Email Functionality & Rule Policy

Dear Experts,

We are on Solution Manager 7.1 sp08 and implemented in our organization. Currently we are facing few issues in enhancing the CHARM functionality.

1. Email to Change Manager at status "To Be Approved".

We defined the action for sending mail to Change Manager.

Defined the scheduled condition and start condition.

In few case action worked but other cases it didn't worked. I have raised the message to SAP but they said that functionality is available in sp10. Need your input if anyone has done the same in sp08 with some modifications.

2. Setting up rule policy for automatically assign CAB approver.

Rule is not working at all, please let me know if anything is being missed?

Thanks for your reply.

I have already seen this document and did the activity as described. But still it is not working.

As communicated earlier, SAP has replied that mail action works at sp10 and our system is sp08.

Did anyone configured in sp08 and working correctly or do i have to upgrade my system to sp10.
