Messages not available for monitoring in both stacks

Hi All,

Recently the PI system was upgraded to PI 7.40. Now in Production environment, i am unable to see the processed message log for the past dates,. i.e processed messages from the previous day alone is being reflected. To resolve this, we increased the retention period to 30 days. But still the same issue is being faced.

Please suggest.

Hi,

I think the retention period will be effective once the system is restarted. Have you restarted the system after the change?

Since it was production system, it was not restarted.

Is it okay if the ABAP stack alone is restarted?

Hi Lavanya,

You will need to restart the Java stack. Also remember to check if your logging is switched on if you create a ICO for sync messages and also check sxmb_adm to make sure you configured it correctly.

Goto -Java stack --NWA--->JavaSystem Properties:-->Services-->XPI Adapter: XI

set values are to be maintained as below...

After the restarted the system.
