Listing procedures: store and Distribution center

Hi,

What is the function of listing: distribution center? If I have to limit the sell and buy in DC and store, should I create 2 assortments? e.g. Article A can be sell and purchase both in store and DC. But article B is only able to sell and purchase in store. So how many assortment I should create? Thanks

Hi jojo,

basically, you don't have to create any additional assortment.

With the creation of the site, every site gets a "local assortment". You can use the one for DC to list only article A there and you can use the local assortment of the store for listing article A & B.

Thank you for your suggestion. Which transaction I can do it mass update?

Also, I am not clear what is the function or how to use of listing: distribution center in article master's listing view?
