BBD / SLED in EWM without Batch Management ?

Hi

Can we have BBD / SLED functionality in EWM without Batch Management ?

The products are not batch managed but Best Before Date Or Shelf Life expiration is required.

Hi Vinod,

You can consider expiration date during picking if you intend to use FEFO strategy. For this you have to create a stock remove rule that sorts by VFDAT (Shelf-life expiration date).

Hi Vinod,

Also have special attention to the dates, as when you do the GR again for same material the old shelf life date may be replaced by new one.

Yes, it's possible to work with BBD / SLED without Batch Management.

Thanks Felipe....I further checked. The BBD (Expiration) for  the received product ( without batch management ) is displayed in Warehouse Monitor at BBD/SLED Overview. I have yet to check if  it is considered during picking. Any idea as to how it works for outbound process ?
