DVM metrics grey status after SPS12

Dear colleagues,

After SPS12 implementation in System Monitoring DVM metrics has grey status and message:

DPC: No data retrieved from provider E2E_DVM_ALERTS

I tried to re-run DVM setup scenatio but no changes appears.

Could you please help me to resolve this issue?

Hello,

I'm having the same issue with SP13 of solution manager, we've implemented all the notes you've said for our version but still the issue is that the extractors of DVM for our remote system are grey.

Did you ever fix it? how?

All the steps for basic configuration, initial and managed system has been followed (green status) also the DVM steps (the step for activating extractors is green, but from the extractor ui the dvm extractor for the remote system are grey)

Hi Alexander,

SPS12

Check the extractors, apply central correction and update the same configuration.

And importantly, raise it with SAP if all is perfectly done from your side.

Also, check if any fits in your case:

2025096 - Wrong RFC Destination for extractor DVM_ANALYSES_SCHEDULER

1998195 - Correction of Extractor DVM Size Statistics Extractor (DBCON)

2049530 - Data Collectors corrections ST-A/PI 01R*

Dear Divyanshu,

I checked extractors and found extractors with errors:

DVM Analyses Scheduler (Saving Potential) - Source RFC Destination not maintained

DVM Size Statistics Extractor (DBCON) - NO_APPLICABLE_DATA

Then I checked notes and found all notes implemented in system already.

I tried to delete extractors and re-setup DVM scenario for system but no changes appears.

Do you any idea?

One of the note above has dependencies with some other notes.

I am not sure as this is SPS12, but you should open these notes in browser and check for dependencies and check with SAP for any new issue.

Dear Divyanshu,

Note 2025096 - Wrong RFC Destination for extractor DVM_ANALYSES_SCHEDULER is a prerequisite for 1969109 SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP12 - Basic functions, which implemented too.

Hi Alexander,

Go to solman_setup -> Basic configuration -> setp 5. Configure automatically -> Re-run the Setup Extractor Framework and check teh log.

Just check this with SAP support if you have repeated the extractor setup and other mandatory section of solman_setup.

I re-run Setup Extractor Framework and logs have green status. But  the metrics have gray status as before.

In configuration automatically, did you re-run Basic DPC configuration and Create Alert Calculation Job ?
