Installation of UI Add-Ons- Fiori for SAP ERP

Hi ,

I have a clarification regarding the below

Installation of Product-Specific UI Add-Ons

Depending on the Business Suite product(s) you use, you need to install the applicable user interface add-on(s) on your front-end server.

Business Suite Product	Based On	Required UI Add-On	Components That Are Automatically installed
SAP ERP	EHP 3 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0	FIORI ERP APPLICATIONS X1 1.0. The following instances are relevant:   Central App UI NW731   HCM UI NW731   Travel UI NW731	Installing the instances on the left automatically installs the following software component versions:   UIX01EAP 1.0   UIX01HCM 1.0   UIX01TRV 1.0
	EHP 4 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0	FIORI ERP APPLICATIONS X1 1.0. The following instances are relevant:   Central App UI NW740   HCM UI NW740   Travel UI NW740	Installing the instances on the left automatically installs the following software component versions:   UIX01EAP 1.0   UIX01HCM 1.0   UIX01TRV 1.0

The above business suite product dentoes which system - on the front end or back end system.????

I am planning to configure SAP Fiori for ERP 6.0 NW stack 7.0 SP 27 and usage for HCM applications which I have it above ERP 6.0 SP 15 as recommended in the prerequisites.

Backend system - ERP 6.0 NW 7.0 SP 27 and ERP 6.0 SP 15 above

Frontend server - SAP NW 7.40

Can you kindly clarify here. I am confused whether I can install SAP Fiori or not now.

Hi Masa,

Thank you very much. I have a small question. The Netweaver gateway which is required to connect the Fiori front end and the ABAP back end system can it be installed on AS Java?

Please let me know.

Hi Balaji,

Fiori apps run on ABAP. Frontend server is actually Gateway server.

Please look at the system landscape.

Thank you very much. I guess Netweaver gateway is based on AS ABAP only.

So it can be installed on top of AS Java

Hi Masa,

I am unable to understand a point here.

I need to configure Leave request application for my ERP 6.0 system usage type HCM, my netweaver level and ERP 6.0 levels as stated in the pre requisite i.e Netweaver 7.0 SP 27 and Application type EA - HR and SAP HR are above ERP 6.0 SP 15.

So I understand for leave request I must install the below components in front end and back end server.

My front end would be EHP7 Netweaver 7.4 SP05 (will upgrade to SP07) so netweaver gateway and central UI components will be already in.

In the backend to support HCM I should install HCM INT for ERP 6.0, which includes the following components to support Fiori

My Leave Requests	GBHCM002 600	12

My backend server I should install component GBHCM002 600 for which should I install SAP Netweaver gateway 2.0 SAP_GWFND 2.0 or just IW_BEP would do??

+ UIX01HCM SP03

Backend Server: ERP 6.0

+ IW_BEP SP08

+ GBHCM002 SP12

+ GBHCM003 SP10
