Changing Delivery in VL03N

D friends,

I’ve a following issue:

1. As per my company’s policy, I’ve not given authorization of VL02N to any of the end users. However, they have been given authorization of VL03N.
2. Now the problem is that in VL03N, the users click the Display <-> Change (Ctrl+ F1) button and the delivery document opens in the change mode.
3. There, users are able to do any modification they want. But still t.code remains VL03N.
4. Due to this problem, our purpose of restricting users to modify delivery document is getting defeated.
5. SAP has given VL03N for display only. So why this loop hole has been left!? And now how to cover this loop hole?

Hi Venu and R Sgr

It is not like this. If user has no authorization of VL02N then he can't go in change mode from VL03N. Change icon and menu will be in display mode. Please check again in your user's roles that whether in any role he has access of VL02N in authorization object S_TCOD. There could be more than one role and user might have this tcode in some other role. Please cross check this and update. No need to go for any screen variant as this is standard control of SAP.

pl maintain below authorization object and maintain the activity: 02 for your shipping point then system not allow the changes through .

pl try this

Authorization object:  V_LIKP_VST 

Activity: 02

Shipping Point/Receiving Point:

You should read SAP note 209846. The issue is disccused there.

Hi all ;

You can check authorization with ;

1- Go to SU01 --> Roles --> Authorization

2- Select related role with change mode.

3- Control V_LIKP_VST , with activity 01.

If anyone have this , it can change delivery document.

as per my knowledge if we have in sc01.. V_LIKP_VST

if we maintained in sc01 this is only For shipping points  authorization right , it means any user is creating delivery  with that shipping point system will block The delivery right?

i also faced slimier issue ..

Just Go to SHD0 T.code ,for that T.code VL03N--Make it Disable i mean Not changeable

This is only Authorization issue Or You can check SUPC T.code also

Take help Of Technical Team ( Security team )
