ARM Mandatory fields Issue

Former Member

Dear All

I have deployed the ARM tool using GRC 10.1 SP04 version.

All the BC sets, configuration settings have been completed with user provisioning working as per my design.

But i have encountered an issue while submitting the access form for Other user, the mandatory fields which were turned on in the EUP are transformed into non mandatory fields.

Is this a SP04 issue or am i missing anything?

I have provided below screen shots

a. where i have done the EUP settings
b. Initial access form where the fields are mandatory.
c. Request for Other screen where the fields change to non mandatory.

Your response is very much appreciated.

Raju

Dear

I would like to let you know that my ARM issue got solved by upgrading to latest Support pack 06 for 10.1..

I tell you GRC 10.1 SP04 was v bad experience for me.

Glad to be moving ahead to conquer new integration scenarios with HCM & IDM.

Thanks

Sorry i forgot to mention which fields are changing:

2. Last Name

3. Manager

as per the attachments.

Raju,

you can specify the EUP template per access request template. Further you can also define the EUP per stage. Make sure that for both types of access request you have the correct definition in template management.

Hope this helps.

Dear Raju,

I didn't read your question carefully. Please also check note 1959323 which describs your problem (changing from others to self).

Dear Alessandaro

Thanks for your prompt reply, appreciate it

i have checked the SAP note & tried downloading the correstion instructions - but sadly below error messages came up.

1. 1686240 - this note didnt have the valid instructions.
2. 1718263 - this note doesnt exist.

i beleive the instructions are not right for the GRC 10.1 SP04 version.

In this case do i have to raise an OSS message to SAP?

pls find the attached screenshots as well.

Dear Raju,

best to raise an OSS message mentioning that the note describes your problem but isn't applicable for 10.1 SP04.

Alessandro
