Can not connect to Portal after Java Add-On installation for BI

Dears,

I just installed the Java Add-on for BI. The following step is to logon to the portal. I can not connect to the portal with user J2EE_ADMIN. It does not return an error, the fields with username and password are just blanked out each time I try to logon.

I tested the J2EE_ADMIN on the SAP J2EE engine start page, and have no problem to login over there.

Am I forgetting something here ?

Dears,

the problem is solved. Apparently there is something wrong with my DNS. When I do a DNS lookup I receive an error in the reverse lookup.

When I logon to the portal via IP, everything is fine. The DNS error will be corrected by our NT team.

Anyway, if you are ever looking for the login trace files:

\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system\security.0.log
