Agentry application on iPad crashes quite frequently

All,

From the past few weeks we are noticing a sudden crash of Agentry application on IPads of our Production environment. Below are some scenarios where we are encountering this issue.

  • If a work order is open for more than 3 days and is transferred among technicians for entering data. After multiple transfers the technician who holds the work order on his i-pad cannot open it, he gets kicked out of Work Manager every time he selects the work order.
  • It also crashes when they try to navigate back and forth among all the three main tabs Work order, notification and the time-sheets. Sometimes by navigating with in the time sheets (randomly select a date so view the time-sheets).

We are currently using Work Manager 5.3 and the production version has Agentry Server version 6.0.22.0 and the Client application is on 6.0.44.1. Assuming that the version difference is causing the issue, also as per SAP's suggestion we updated the Agentry Server level to 6.0.44.0 to bring it closer to the client (application) version which is 6.0.44.1 in our TEST environment. However this still did not resolve the issue.

After looking at the IPCU logs (one attached) and some analysis, we implemented the SAP Note: 1834518 as this could be a connection timeout issue. This also did not help much as we still see the Agentry getting crashed in both environments.

Please share your thoughts on how to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Amar

Steps : 1) First Delete all logs from agentry server  except recent logs . 2) Restart Agentry server . 3) reset agetry client device . 4) Connect client to server for fresh fetch . Because this is a crash issue, I would recommend opening a ticket on the Service Marketplace with the component MOB-SYC-SAP.  Please provide a Client Database that is having the error, reproduction steps, and application export.
