Cost center create - Single maintenance

Hi All,

I would like to know the significance of Cost center single maintenance UI in MDG. This UI doesn't have the hierarchy area and going through various threads I understand that cost center creation and hierarchies are maintained through the "Process Hierarchies for Cost Center Group". In such case if I create a new Cost Center from single maintenance please let me know if this will fail during replication, because in ECC I see hierarchy area as a mandatory field while cost center creation.

Hi Ponraj

First thing If you create CC in Singlr processing without hierarchy in MDG it wont fail during data replication into ECC as it takes and assign automatically standard hierarchy area in ECC with reference to Controlling Area (In Configuration there is assignment of Std Hierarchy area to each controlling area).

So even if you are not mentioning any hierarchy in MDG , during replication in ECC it takes std hierarchy area assigned to controlling area.
