addon problem for sap FIORI Leave request application

hi All

We are trying to install and configure sap fiori leave request application for this

we search in marketplace UIHCM002 100 and download and trying to install

but seams UIHCM002 100 basic pack missing for this

perfectly where we will get basic addon for this

Hi Radhesh,

You are going to install old components. You should install UIX01HCM.

Hi Radhesh,

Please look at the system landscape diagram. UIX01HCM should be installed on frontend server.

Most of customers keep the changes in ERP as minimum because it is stable and productive use. They have new fronted server which is NetWeaver 740 and install UIX01HCM.

i agree we should use 740, but all configuration has done on 702. basis team said , it will take 20 days to up new 740 server. as backend on 740 and its production.

we stuck on one add for leave request. there must be any solution for this.

Gateway(FrontEnd) on 702

backend(Prod) on 740

Just we want to test one application. and then planning of HR FIORI Application, go live might be next month

Hi Radhesh,

You have 2 options.

1. Update Gateway to 740. I guess Gateway is not productive use. Your basis can install 740 without any risk.

2. Use Embedded deployment on ERP. ERP is already 740. It means ERP has Gateway and UI add-on component. You can install UIX01HCM on ERP.

there is any matrix if i use gateway on 740.

coz already i got problem of leave request addon on 702.

we unable to find addon UIHCM002 100.

we have 2 prod system one for HR and one for other

and they are on 702.

mean while basis team upgrading gateway on 740.

Hi Radhesh,

UIHCM002 is old UI and UIX01HCM is new UI with extension points.

You can install UIX01HCM after Gateway 740 is ready.

but what if some one want use gateway on 702? Addon still missing?

and not possible to implement fiori apps on 702?

its bugs? i think people might had done fiori implementation on 702... then how?

Please look at the prerequisites in the install guide.

It says that SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SPS 07 or SAP NetWeaver 7.31 SPS 05 or higher (recommended minimum SPS 08).

n gateway server = fiori frontend right? or we can use both as seperate part.

backend server (740) -> gateway server(702) -> fiori front end(740)

it is possible to use this way

or

backend server (740) -> gateway server(740) + fiori front end(740)
