Hi All,

We have successfully installed ehp 7 but when we trying to login through gui getting an error as follows "partner 192.168.1.100:sapdp00 not reached".Firewall is off and server is up.Please find the attachment as well.

Hi Samson,

Did u check weather the db and sap services are up and running and also check the log on parameters given in the GUI.

If ur server is of windows check in the sap mmc disp+work status and also check in the os level /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/work for logs related to startup.

Could you check the network connectivity by using the Nping as mention in the SAP Note

Hi Sriram,

As per sap note i used two commands as niping -s -I 0 and niping -c -H <Server IP>.

Hi Sriram,

MMC is also working as it is in green colour. Can you please check services file as anything wrong with it.Please find attached.

Hi Samson,

I believe, you are using a wrong instance number in SAP GUI for this system

Please correct it. It would work if all is fine.

Did you try doing telnet from your frontend host to SAP server ?

I can able to connect with the system through telnet. Is it because of services file???

The entries should be there in host and services file.

Hi Samson,

Have you entered he correct Host/IP of your SAP system ?

Is your SAP system UP and running ?

Can you check for logs under work directory ?

Is firewall disabled and ports opened ?
