J2EE ENGINE PROBLEM

Hi,

I restared J2EE engine, because of some configuration.

After that in services, in process list disp+work.exe is stopped.

its not restarted.

Regarding this I am not going to further.

did u restart it by smicm?

did you u use shutdown without restart? if yeah, explicitely ask for shutdown, now.

I restarted through SMICM with softshutdown with restart.

Now I am not able to login into through SAPLOGON.

its giving partner not reached. connection refused.

apparentely its a network issue or the abap instance is down.

do u have contact with basis team? ask for a sapstop/sapstart on the instance, if its really down.

Ask yur basis people to complete shutdown and restart .Sure it will work.

Hi,

Right click on disp+work.exe to see developer work trace probable it will helpful. See the log dev_rfc.log in instance/work/dev_rfc/log for further information. The best way solution is just bounce/restart the system so it will set all things normal.
