SDP8B change mode option

Hello Dear,

I am trying to add a KF in a Dataview from /SAPAPO/SDP8B, but I am not getting  a Complete button to save the changes. I tried like opening the client, getting temporary SAP ALL from authorization team, but its not working.

It worked fine in Quality environment, but not in Live system. Is there any setting to be activated or any pertinent authorisation object to get it activated ?

Please help.

Hi Rahul,

Did you run SU53 to see if what are the authorization failures?

Also, take a look of this SAP note:

1049566 - Creation of the planning book/data view not
possible

Please check dataview tab in Design mode. Status should be 3 as below.

Hello Subash & Mariano,

Thank you for taking out time & answering by query.

Yes, the status is 3. As shown below, I want to drag the mentioned KF to Data view pane, but it opens in grey mode (Data view tab) & without "COMPLETE" button !

Do I have do this small drag & drop change & create a Transport Request via /SAPAPO/TSOBJ for planning book change.

Like Mariano adviced take a screenshot of su 53 and work with your security team.

Hello All,

The issue has been resolved. In SE06 the SCM component was in NOT MODIFIABLE which restricted the complete button access.
