Queries on latest SAP Visual Enterprise Viewer version

I had a few questions on the SAP Visual Enterprise Viewer. (#1 is similar to another query recently published on the forum, would still like to confirm).

1) The link for downloading the latest version 8.0.100.27428 seems to have a "Trial Version" option although it says the software is free (see attachment). I wanted to check whether this is indeed a trial version that will expire after a certain period.

2) I understand the software is currently available for the Windows, iOS and Android platforms. Do you have any plans in the roadmap for supporting Mac OS as well?

3) I believe the viewer works with the latest versions of IE, Firefox and Chrome. Could you clarify whether the latest Opera and Safari browsers (on Windows) are supported?

Hi Arvind,

1. Please ignore the 'Trial' description. The software is provided free to use and will not expire. The Store link requires updating.

2. There is no plan for a Mac OS version at this time.

3. The currently supported browsers are: (see Administrators Guide)

• Internet Explorer 8,9,10 & 11
• Firefox 4 or later versions
• Chrome 9 or later versions
