External Drop into Visual Business from another UIBB within an FPM application

Hi Experts,

I am using the Visual Business basic classes for FPM (from the Suite) which I have redefined.

e.g.

CL_VBI_SERVICE_PROVIDER

CL_FPM_VBI_GEOMAP_APPLICATION

CL_VBI_CONTROL_ADAPTER_GEO

and the FPM component for VB : FPM_VIZBIZ.

My purpose is I would like to drag an UI element from a tree UIBB and drop in VisBiz.

But when I tried, I found VB UIBB undroppable. There was no event triggered when i dropped on it.

Do I have to do anything extra in my feeder class or any other redefined classes to make VISBIZ UIBB droppable.

I would appreciate a quick reply.

Hi Siju,

what you are trying is currently not possible. We are in the process to connect the WDA/FPM framework to the native Drag & Drop and then we will be able to drag and drop from and to VisBiz out of (or into) other GUIBBs. We hope to be able to deliver the functionality with SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SP10.
