VL10A. Background mode and TIME_OUT error.

Hello guys.

I need some explanations about how background mode in VL10A working.

First, check out screenshot for understanding which background mode i mean.

This mode creating no background jobs but process can run longer than rdisp/max_wprun setted.

But sometime VL10A in background mode falls in TIME_OUT error.

So it's make me think that if VL10A can't process 1 sales orders of 100 sales orders for in rdisp/max_wprun time - we getting TIME_OUT despite we have more sales orders in queue

Or maybe if system can't determine batch for 1 item in rdisp/max_wprun - TIME_OUT.

Can you tell me in which situation i will get TIME_OUT?

I know about executing in background job.

Please post a screenshot of the part of the dump where the code is shown. This will allow us to see exactly where the system times out and point to possible solutions.

Did you try SAP notes? There are few SAP notes about VL10A performance issue. Check these notes if these are helpful. 1107788, 1431915, 490547 are few examples.

If any sales order in VL10A background taking more than rdisp/max_wprun - TIME_OUT despite on other orders in queue.
